to Screen
The morning sun softly bathes a warm, lived-in neighborhood of Istanbul, illuminating a freshly set breakfast table.
Inside the kitchen, a woman stands by the window, quietly observing the street below.
Suddenly, a familiar street call rises from outside:
“Simitçiii!”
With that sound, the camera lifts from the kitchen window and flows outward in a seamless FPV drone movement. It glides swiftly through the streets, capturing the rhythm of the neighborhood.
The drone comes to rest on a close-up of warm, golden simits stacked on the vendor’s cart.
In the stadium, thousands of fans simultaneously raise their index fingers to their lips.
“Shhhhhh…”
With this collective gesture, silence becomes visible.
The SHHH sound lifts into the air, transforming into a stylized, smoky wave that begins to fill the stadium.
A female cheerleader and the referee watch in astonishment, following the drifting sound with their eyes.
On the pitch, a football player turns toward a nearby building as the floating SHHH escapes the stadium.
